Atlantic Blvd staple gets a makeover to fix the infamous traffic mess
If you’ve ever cruised down Atlantic Blvd in Alhambra, chances are you’ve hit that familiar backup near In-N-Out. Well, say goodbye to the long waits—at least for now.
The iconic Alhambra In-N-Out has officially closed its doors for a major renovation project, expected to last 10 months. Yep, no Double-Doubles on this corner for a while.
What’s the Plan?
The redesign isn’t just cosmetic—it’s about solving a real problem. The new layout will ease traffic congestion that’s long frustrated locals. Expect a revamped drive-thru, new outdoor seating, a trash enclosure (hey, it matters), fresh landscaping, and updates to the building’s flow.
This isn’t a tear-down, though—the original structure stays put, keeping that classic California feel with a functional refresh.
What To Do in the Meantime?
Pasadena, Rosemead, and Monterey Park still have you covered if the cravings hit. But it’s also a moment to support local spots while we wait for our beloved In-N-Out to return.
